Amendments and cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. Here we guide you through the process and provide you with all the necessary information ahead of time.
Certainly, canceling an online booking is possible through the My account section. You can access this feature 24/7. Simply visit My account and follow the instructions to request a cancellation. The process is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Generally, yes, you can. If you wish to amend your booking, please contact us and we will make the change for you. With go-ferry.com, you can amend your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure!
Keep in mind, though, that amendments are handled as cancellations if the amended booking includes a different ferry carrier from the initially booked. In this case, ferry carrier cancellation fees may be applicable. We will inform you, of course, before proceeding with the finalization of your cancellation.

To retrieve your booking, please enter your email address (the one you used to make your booking) and your booking number (at the top of your booking confirmation).
Once a booking has been paid, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, whether it be a credit, debit, or prepaid card, PayPal, Sofort or bank account. However, it is important to note that the carrier and the responsible travel agency may charge fees that will be deducted from the refund amount. You will be informed about these possible deductions before finalizing your cancellation request.
Additionally, any bank charges or delays in receiving the refund are outside of go-ferry.com's control and subject to inter-banking agreements.
Below you will find the cancellation fees of most ferry companies:
- 0% in case of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g. storms)
- Up to 31 days before departure: the ticket can be canceled or the travel date can be postponed without incurring a surcharge
- Up to 30-15 days before departure: 50% of the fare as a cancellation fee. Alternatively, the travel date can be postponed (price difference must be paid)
- Up to 14-8 days before departure: 75% of the fare as a cancellation fee. Alternatively, the travel date can be postponed (price difference must be paid)
- Up to 7 days before departure: 100% of the fare as a cancellation fee. Alternatively, the travel date can be postponed (price difference must be paid)
- Tickets for promotional purposes or special offers (e.g. early bird offers, special offers, etc.) are non-refundable. Alternatively, the travel date can be postponed (the difference to the standard fare must be paid)

During the booking procedure, we offer the possibility to add booking protection. In this way, you are entitled to a full refund (excluding the booking protection fee) up to 45 days after your departure.
In case of cancellation of your booking, a cancellation fee will be charged by the responsible travel agency. The fee for international routes is 40.00 euros per booking, while for domestic routes it is 25.00 euros per booking. Please note that this fee is not charged per passenger, but per booking.
It is important to mention that the respective carrier may also charge a cancellation fee, which will be added to the travel agency’s fee.
In that case, you have to manage your booking in the My Booking section or contact us directly via email or phone, and we will correct any errors or omissions for you.
To access the "My Booking" section or to contact us, you need to know the email address with which you completed the booking and your booking reference number.
The ferry carrier and go-ferry.com may require an amendment fee or cancellation fee. Before completing any modification or cancellation, we will inform you about the exact amendment or cancellation fee.
One last note: suppose your booked departure date is more than four (4) weeks ahead. In that case, canceling your booking through the My Booking section and making a new one with the correct data is easier and faster. We will refund you the total amount of the canceled booking.

If your ferry trip is canceled or delayed due to force majeure, such as severe weather, please contact the port office of your carrier to receive information on new timetables. The carrier will issue new boarding tickets for the next available ferry trip or for another date of travel if you prefer.
We recommend contacting the port office directly to confirm whether the passage is carried out or not. Contact details for reaching out the port office are provided in the booking confirmation.
