It is located about 2 kilometers north of Lanzarote, just 30 minutes by boat from Lanzarote and separated by the El Río Strait. The island is part of the Chinijo archipelago.

There is only one ferry connection to La Graciosa, from the port of Órzola in Lanzarote, with arrival in Caleta de Sebo, the capital of the island.

Duration
The duration of the journey is 25 minutes. The route is unique as during the crossing you cross the narrow sea channel known as "El Río". In addition, during the journey, you will also enjoy the spectacular view of the Risco de Famara, finally reaching the port of Caleta de Sebo.
Frequency
The ferry connection from Lanzarote to La Graciosa operates all year round and is operated on a daily basis by two ferry companies, Líneas Romero and Biosfera Express.
Seasonality
The sailings from Lanzarote to La Graciosa are daily with an increasing trend from March and higher during the peak months!
- Low season: every 30 minutes from 08.00 in the morning up to 18.30 in the afternoon
- From March to October: one more sailing at 19.00
- From April to October: one more sailing at 19.30
- From July to October: one more sailing at 20.00

Transportation & accessibility in La Graciosa
Transportation and accessibility options upon arrival on the island are limited due to strict motor vehicle regulations as cars are not allowed in Graciosa. Most travel around La Graciosa is on foot or by bike due to the flat terrain and unpaved roads.Let’s see the ways you can move around the island:
- On foot: due to its small size, many areas of Graciosa can be explored on foot. In addition, it is an excellent way to get to know the natural beauty and local culture of the island up close
- Bike rental: renting a bike in La Graciosa, or even better a mountain bike in Caleta de Sebo, is the best way to explore the scenic routes, enjoying fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Most of the bike rental offices in La Graciosa are located around Caleta de Sebo harbor and provide helmets, advice and route information
- Taxi: in La Graciosa you can hire a taxi. Taxis can be hired for short trips or longer excursions, making it easy to reach different attractions
- Rent a water taxi : the option to take a water taxi gives you the possibility to discover unique experiences, landscapes and deserted beaches in the Chinijo Archipelago
- Rent a car: in La Graciosa, there are no paved roads and therefore no vehicles are allowed, except for a limited number of 4x4 taxis

- Mountain bike routes: mountain bike tours in La Graciosa are the best way to get to know the island and the tours are not too difficult since it is a flat island. There are three cycling routes in la Graciosa that cross the island from north to south, leading to the main points of interest and the island beaches:

- Jeep safari: the 4x4 jeep tour is a special experience. Stops include must-sees such as Las Conchas Beach and the Caletones Arches (Arcos de Los Caletones), an impressive monument of natural basalt stone. Most taxis have a maximum capacity of 8 passengers. If you are visiting during the peak season (summer, Easter and Christmas) you should book your jeep tour around La Graciosa well in advance as the number of taxis available on the island is limited
What to eat in La Graciosa
- Most of the restaurants are in Caleta de Sebo. Being a fishing village, the plate of honor is fish.
In the various restaurants that you will find near the port, you will find excellent native fish that you don't usually eat or find in your usual place of stay, such as Bocinegro or Morena. The specialties of the island range from different types of fish, to potato wrinkles with the typical Mojo sauce from the Canary Islands, to hamburgers or pizzas.
